Dubai and Shopping Malls

Seriously, Dubai seems to have an obsession with shopping malls. First, the premier mall was the Deira City Center, which was considered to be the biggest shopping mall (and is still arguably the best) in Dubai. Then came Ibn Batuta (previously known as The Gardens Shopping Mall. Then came the eagerly awaited Emirates Mall with its ski slope. Now we are hearing about Mall of Dubai and Mall of Arabia. Where will this all end?
According to an article on UAEInteract,
“The Mall of Arabia with 600,000 square metres will lead the race, followed by Dubai Mall with 500,000 square metres, Mall of Arabia with 400,000 square metres and Ibn Battuta Mall that with 300,000 square metres. “
Well, I dont know whether anyone noticed that now you can get parking at Deira City Centre easily these days, even on weekends. Al Futtaim have (very cleverly) attracted the residents on SZR and Marina or Jumeirah to MOE, Ibn Batutua looks empty now. MAF & Co. knows how to make and run malls.
By they way, have any body tried that black hole in mall of emirates (MOE).
Fashionistas is a personal shopping and style concierge in Dubai. It’s every tourist’s dream come true. I’m from Middlesex and went to Dubai for the second time. Not only did the personal shoppers at Fashionistas take me to the right stores to suit me and my budget, they also told me about the best bars, restaurants and must-see places in Dubai. I got some great style advice and felt as though I was shopping with a friend. I recommend calling Fashionistas to make your trip to Dubai a memorable one.
