Human Rights
Dubai’s human rights situation is sickening, Even though dubai is becoming a tourist destination and is coming up on the world map its just sad to see that the country is doing nothing in regards to this situation. most people visiting do not see the situation as it is hidden, there is no freedom of press, things are hidden from the public, workers are made to work like crazy, they have no rights whatsoever in most companies. I can go on and on and on about this what do you guys have to say….. what brought this sudden outburst of anger and frustration, on the way back from work today I saw about 50-60 people jammed standing into a imigration transportation truck being herded somewhere like animals, probably for minor immigration violations.
Please do tell more. I have no idea what kind of stuff you’re referring to.
I have been in Dubai sevreal times because my parents live there, and the first time I was there I diden`t think much about the the workers, because I still was a tourist. But each time I go there now I look at it as modern slavery. People don`t think about what all the workers do for them. I am a foto student and I am going down to Dubai in february to take pictures of the imigrations workers. And hopefully I get acsses to one of the camps where they live. Later on when I get home I`m gonne make a book of it. So if any one have any suggestion or tips I whil be wery glad.
Bad human rights is a surprise, I am aware of countries hiding the problem though, our tour guide recently drove past a prison nr Jumeirah and stated that the prison was v good air conditioned and rehabilitation programmes took place etc.
