This is what Dubai is doing. All of rapid Dubai’s “freehold” development is possible only due to the exploitation of poor south asian workers. Dubai is a Disneyland for Arabs. You might enjoy the “comfort” of world class infrastructure, but NEVER gain the “life experience” of living in a REAL city. This is a culture-less, soulless city. A superficial bubble waiting to explode. A couple of wooden stalls at Global Village DOES NOT make you multi-cultural.
