The Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) has been postponed until December 20, 2006. DSF has been deferred to late this year as a gesture of respect due to the demise of Shiekh Maktoum Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. This is a necessary and requisite protocol that must be followed at this time.

I realize that a lot of people were looking forward to this DSF (especially the tourists) but I am sure most of the residents of the Dubai, the neighboring emirates, and the tourists will understand and respect the decision of cancellation of this year’s DSF.
