Just got this from my IT team!

It is reported that a mass mailing worm Nyxem(also known as Blackmal) is programmed to activate the malicious software payload on 03rd day of any month ie. Feb 3, March 3 .. is currently in the wild. The worm if infected , would overwrite files with specific extentsions like .dmp, .doc, .mdb, .mde, .pdf, .pps, .ppt, .psd, .rar, .xls,.zip etc , replacing the data in the files and also deletes certain files. Also this worm has the potential to lower the security settings and disable the security software.

Please do not open any mail with subjects like:
