Weather Warning hoax

A couple of days back, an anonymous emai was circulated in UAE (Dubai), warning people to stay indoors on Friday due to expected storm and winds speed upto 60mph.

Gulf News has printed this article on the issue:

According to Phil Targett, duty forecaster at Dubai International Airport: “We’re not expecting anything dramatic on Friday according to our modelling data. Friday looks like being a relatively average sort of day.”

Consumer Alert- ebay.ae

This is just to inform all readers that there is a website by the name of ebay.ae it is very similar to ebay.com and it is being advertised in the local media. From the looks of it, it seems to be an ebay.com site but there is no mention of it on the ebay.com main page. I had a chat with the online help at ebay.com and the customer service rep assured me that ebay.ae was not an affiliate. I have sent emails to both ebay.com and ebay.ae to confirm what the situation is and will post both replies. If its an affiliate that should be made clear otherwise ebay.ae shouts deception all over.
