Dubai metro green line will be opening exactly 2 years after opening of RED line. Little behind schedule as originally planned, The Green line will serve the most crowded routes of RTA bus services.

Careful estimates show that union junction will be most crowded after opening of green line and approximately 1500 to 2000 people would be using Union Junction per hour during the metro timings in working days.
