Dubai internet censorship not as bad as Iran!
There was an entry on this blog a few days ago regarding the internet censorship in UAE. Suffice to say that even though the censorship is bad in Dubai, it is nothing compared to the censorship in Iran!

I landed in Tehran just this morning. Checked into a dingy hotel named Firdousi hotel which claims to be a 4 star hotel, but believe me, we have 2 stars in Pakistan which are better than this 4 star in Iran. I packed up my bags in the afternoon and checked into one of the best hotels in Tehran, the 5-starLaleh hotel.
After many negotiations with the staff to get my internet up and running, I found out that I could not log in to Orkut, ro check Flickr because all this is blocked. And not only that, half the travel sites for Iran are blocked for some unfathomable reason.
Just remember this: No matter how bad you think you have it, there is always someone somewhere who has it worse!
And I thought we had enough of Pakistani censorship. Good to know Dubai and Iran top us in atleast one field
oh yea no one can compare to Iran’s censor policies, but Orkut is blocked in UAE too :).
