Dubai videos
To try and show a few moving pictures of what Dubai is like, I’ve created a video blog. It has only just started, so there are only a few files on there so far, but I plan to try and display many of the various sights of Dubai and the UAE.
I also plan take requests: if someone outside the UAE is keen to see the outside of a particular new skyscraper for example, let me know and I will see if I can film it. Then I’ll post a still here and a link to the video. Obviously certain things can’t be filmed, such as military buildings, or anything indecent (which would include people sunbathing, to be on the safe side and avoid getting blocked!)
Here is my list
1. Pakistan Islamia Higher secondary school Alain UAE (Please…)
2.Clips of entering and exiting underpasses in the city.
3.An in and around view of Wafi mall including that empty bench that is next to an escalator or any empty bench there.
4.The view of upper floor of Terminal 2 where there are coffeshops and restaurents etc.
5.Starbucks Diera City Centre
You asked people living outside to request clips of new sky scrapers but i had more urge of requesting clips of these places instead.
The best way to show people the concrete jungle we have here in Dubai, is by filming the Dubai Marina, in that one square kilometer you will find more than 32 buildings, that was the last count done by myself on Christmas eve.
I used to live in Abdul naser square in Diera i would like to see what it looks like now!
I also used to live on the beach road in Ajman in one of the villa’s!
We used to own General Marine services in Sharjah and Aqua Diving services, and M.S.E. in Sharjah.
I went to school in St mary’s in Dubai one of my partners was the personal adviser and a friend of Mohammed Hamdan (Munir Saqaaf)
Abdullah Sirri the cheif of police in Sharjah was one of my fathers partners.
My Mother was buried in the RAF cemetry in Sharjah! If it is still there or not i dont know but if it is i would love to see some photos of it.
One of my friends Said Barwany’s Father was the director of agriculture and fisheries Dubai.
Another of my friends Rommel who lived in Ajman was the son of the chief of police in Ajman. So any pictures of any of those places would be very much apreciated.
Thanks
